Official Import Rules
Botswana requires an ISO microchip, current rabies vaccination (at least 30 days old), a government-endorsed veterinary health certificate issued within 10 days of travel, and an import permit from the Department of Veterinary Services.
Parasite treatment required.
The official gov.bw DVS pages make no reference to Maun Airport (MUB) as an approved pet entry point. Only Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (GBE) in Gaborone is consistently referenced by official and authoritative sources for pet imports into Botswana. The inclusion of Maun (MUB) as an alternative approved entry airport for cats has no official government backing and should be removed or flagged as unverified.
